At the top of a hill in North Hatley, overlooking Lake Massawippi stands the small, but impressive, North Hatley Elementary School. Within these walls, large sunny classrooms, small class sizes, and caring, dedicated staff make it conducive for active student learning.
Because North Hatley Elementary is such a small school, consisting of just over sixty-five students and twelve staff members, the often-heard phrase “It takes a village to raise a child” is meaningful and true in our case. Every adult in the building shapes each child’s education, with the joint assistance from caring parents and community members.
